The Group

The identity of Guinea's national bauxite champion: the vision, governance and history of a 100% Guinean company.

Our vision

Sovereignty in motion

Our vision goes beyond extracting bauxite. We aim to be the driving force of a mining industry in which the wealth of Guinea's subsoil becomes the foundation of lasting national prosperity. AGB2A-GIC positions itself as the bridge between Guinea's natural resources and the demands of the world market, proving that a local player can run world-class operations.

Roots and identity

Born of Guinean soil, our decisions are not taken in distant towers but with an intimate understanding of what is at stake for our communities.

Local reinvestment

Where others repatriate the whole of the value created, AGB2A-GIC reinvests its successes on a large scale in national infrastructure and human capital.

Agility and partnership

Our hybrid model combines the flexibility of a national champion with the strength of our strategic partnerships.

Our values

Three principles, in this order

Boldness

Daring to turn complex concessions into major logistical successes.

Integrity

Operating in complete transparency with the State and with citizens.

Excellence

Aiming for zero defects, from extraction through to maritime transhipment.

Governance

Leadership built on vision and expertise

AGB2A-GIC's management brings together backgrounds in mining, finance, port engineering and community dialogue. Every link in the chain, from the mining plateau to the loading quay, has an identified manager.
